Security Services
Help keep Park Forest and Oak Forest safe communities by reporting criminal or suspicious activity to our local law enforcement agency, Baton Rouge Police Department, and to PFCPID and PFCA via our community phone line or email address. By reporting criminal or suspicious activity, you can assist our patrol officers in determining where they should focus their patrols or when we may need to request additional patrols.
Park Forest Security Patrol
Our Security Patrol is staffed by Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) officers who are working extra-duty. These officers patrol the communities of Park Forest and Oak Forest for the benefit of the residents and visitors. The officers have access to various security tools including our license plate reader system and BRPD resources. The officers work varying schedules which can include holidays and special functions within the neighborhood. If you are experiencing an emergency, you should 911. If you have police assistance, but it is not an emergency, you should call 225-389-2000. Once you have received assistance from the police department, feel free to report it to the Security Coordinator at 225-275-6639 or via pfcpid2020@gmail.com. Our community phone line and email are not monitored in real-time.
Park Forest Security Cameras
Park Forest has nine entrances with ALL being monitored by license plate reader cameras. There is also a license plate reader camera installed at the main entrance to our neighboring PFCPID partner, Oak Forest. With so many crimes in the United States involving vehicles, the license plate reader cameras' investigative potential is unrivaled. Our cameras' ability to scan an abundance of license plates per minute brings to bear the service that makes our community safer and more secure. Access to license plate reader cameras is restricted to law enforcement officers and the Security Patrol Coordinator or his/her designee.
